  We went there for an afternoon tea booked one day before as requested we were seated fine. We ordered the waitress gave no choice or information to what this would include. Out came the food in about 20minutes we got 2 cheese savoury buns 2 cheese and pickle buns and 2 tuna savoury buns 2 fruit scones with jam and cream lemon drizzle cake chocolate tiffan chocolate brownie and 2 macaroons. Scones were dry as sticks cakes were nice but not £15 . Not 1 meat sandwich and when i got home and checked menu eton mess missing and quite a few different sandwiches missing also sandwiches not meant to be in buns. Im warning anyone not to waste £15pp on this absolute rip off overpriced rubbish. For £15 you could get michelin star food and this is definitely not.Or this could just be a place that looks after the locals.NOT WORTH THE MONEY KEEP AWAY

  popped in on the off chance for tea 6 pm on a friday. seated almost straightaway. good menu choices, a little more expensive than your average country pub but you get what you pay for. Food is of excellent quality and the portion sizes are huge. really friendly, attentive and courteous staff

  Can't vouch for other meals, but the afternoon tea was fab with decent sized sandwiches (more than 2 bites big!) and a good cake selection, plus plentiful tea or coffee. Good service too by pleasant staff.
