  Lovely country style pub with various bars and rooms to sit and relax and have some great food. A mix from bar food all the way up to the largest Sunday lunch you have seen. Always worth booking at a table at peak times. We love the bar area, which is dog friendly. Great on a Friday night when you want to sit by the open fire and enjoy a pint in the warmth.

  Got married here and the day was perfect from start to finish. Just returned from our first anniversary stay. Beautiful room and fabulous meal. Go frequently for a carvery dinner too which is always fabulous

  This is the first time we have had a meal here, the burger was not cooked correctly you should have a choice of how you want it cooked, we got another meal which was still uncooked. I informed staff who had no customer service skills, I them went on to speak to management who also had no customer service skill and do not believe in keeping customers happy the food is expensive,I will never return here and people should this on board also the menu was not available we asked staff about this and they said we do not serve a full menu on s bank holiday this should be stated on line bad service all round.

  We went for Sunday dinner with the family and 4 children. Food and service were both great. There were a choice of 4 meats, pork, Turkey, gammon and pulled pork, they are more generous dishing the meats out than other places I've been.
